Please come and join us at Bears & Boxes. Our guest house offers friendly comfortable accommodation in a cottage, parts of which date back to the 17th century. The two bedrooms in the original cottage retain much of their original character but have been upgraded with your comfort in mind and are now fully en-suite. There is a twin bedroom, also en-suite and family suite with private bathroom.
Relax in our comfortable lounge and reading room. We pride ourselves on our exciting home cooked meals, created with local produce to which add a little individuality (English fayre with colonial flair), served by arrangement, in our traditional dining room or weather permitting, al fresco. We are able to, and enjoy, catering for most special dietary needs with prior notification.
Our aim is to make your stay as enjoyable and relaxed as possible, with this in mind breakfast is available until late morning with tea, coffee and biscuits when required in true relaxed Cornish style!
We enjoy catering for families with children of all ages and have games and amusements available for those occasional wet days.
Well behaved dogs are very welcome and are provided with their own beds in the rooms.

Our guest house is situated in a peaceful rural area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on North Cornwall’s Heritage Coast, just a few minutes walk from the spectacular Coastal Footpath and close to the ancient Dizzard woods, Cancleave Strand & Millook. A short drive away are Crackington Haven and the Harbour of Boscastle. From the gardens there are views across Widemouth Bay to Bude and beyond!!
